Top Two Study Abroad Colleges in US Seek to Pop Students’ Cultural Bubbles

The top two colleges for study abroad are Hobart and Williams in New York, and Goucher College in Maryland, according to Princeton Review.

Popular study abroad programs include immersive experiences designed to eliminate “cultural bubbles,” by including homestays, internships, and volunteer/service opportunities, observed Dr. Kyle Anderson, director of Centre College’s Center for Global Citizenship in Danville, KY. A majority of faculty at top study abroad colleges teach students at international sites, he notes.
